WHAT IF THE WORLD WERE TO END?

a regular thought in society today is of the 2012 theory, where the mayans predicted the world will end. since this has been dwelled on other evidence has lead to believe that it may actually come true:

Bryan: anyways, i think the worlds gonna end in 2012
emma-lee: why is that?
Bryan: because! haha. you know bout the mayans and shit yeah?
emma-lee says: yeah
Bryan says: this guy did this test thing like 12 years ago and it measures novelties in history and stuff, its hard to explain how it works but it had big fluctuations and shit for the last 25 000 years, buttt when he test for 22nd of december 2012, the graph just went flat, which means all habitation stops existing and he’d never heard of the mayans before he did his test, and mayans calender ends on dec 21st 2012
emma-lee says: eeeeeeeeek it scares me to think that
Bryan says: its pretty weird aye! so interesting though
emma-lee says: its interesting, but then i think i only have three years to live, thats alot of things that if it were to happen i would miss out on, i would never get married and id never be a mother. so many things so many people would not get to do
Bryan says: yeah thats very true, it just doesnt seem likely that it would actually happen
emma-lee says: who knows anymore
Bryan says: cause we’d see signs before a major collaspe in the enviroment
emma-lee says: yeah thats true….
Bryan says: and then hopefully government wouldnt be to big headed to consider other theories
emma-lee says: haha yeah
Bryan says: but i think 2012 will end up being like 2000 anyways,
like people looting and shit and going crazy screaming its the end of the world and shit lol
emma-lee says: hahah yeah, that i can see coming
Bryan says: probably should make sure were the top minds of 2012, so we get on the spaceship they use to save all the smart people
emma-lee says: hahaha oh yes! and then we all believe it will, yet we just end up going for a trip to outer space and then coming back because everything is fine after all. it would be a grand adventure anyways.
Bryan says: haha most definitely

its scary to think how insignificant people and places are, but you know its just these regular conversations that intrigue my mind, and bryan is the best at talking about them. no matter what he says, he is intelligent!
