silk floral print dress; valley markets and scissors
sick and lethargic are the only two ways to describe how i feel right now, and after an amazing weekend its a bit of a let down. friday ended with work and then spontaneously heading to a party which, turned out to be a drag, so i convinced a friend to drive me home. the rest was spent with chats and laughs, entertaining at least.
saturday began early with an eight hour shift of work, how depressing. this got better though as my plans foiled by people being busy, but going to the outrageous valley fiesta by myself made my luck grow. i ran into numerous amounts of friends and acquaintances alike, danced til my feet almost dropped off and had alot of fun just running around.
the indiest styles were seriously out in bloom that night, as everywhere you looked, attractiveness was there! i am fairly sure we made that clear by yelling vulgar and strange comments of the bridge as people passed by, and mario was going to make a da bigga da pizza for ev'ryone! of the laughs, collecting atleast fifty free packets of condoms, to later on pass around to other people enjoying their night yelling 'safe sex is fun sex'. a few litte tantrums and leaving dwindling supplies of cigarettes, running into over 18's when their night just began was fun, even if i could not go and join them.
heading into the cit to get on our way home came easier than expected, but not without some hard laughs at nothing in particular, we were just having the time of our lives. finally getting home after a strange individual on the bus had talked to us and had inevitably swapped us some condoms, was quite funny. switching the television on and laying in the comfiest bed alive! rock to love, and sex and the city caught our attention before eagerly waking a few hours later because of a text message.
that was pretty much our cue to get ready and start our day, so a quick breakfast at home go us rolling. not to mention our second breakfast out was even better, haha. that day turned out better than planned aswell, as we found the full bottle everyone thought had been lost, and i got to finally see a very close friend of mine. the city was full of strange people for the 2009 zombie race, yet they intrigued us.
one strange man had come up to the three of us, shannon, pearl and i, and asked us a question.. were we from png, we answered no, and he had a disappointed look and said because your pretty nice girls. he was very sweet yet a little creepy, but made us smile none the less. from there we headed down to the new and improved king george square for some live music and free face painting, i felt like a little kid again.
it was one of those feelings, when you just felt as happy as anything could be, as if nothing could keep you down, and it was fantastic. the day ended wit ha lost cause to try and find the zombie race, so inevitably we had missed it, disappointing to say the least. though, the other coincidences and good fortune had made up for it more than imaginable.
today i am sick from the heat, and cold interchanges all night. it is horrible.
