high waisted black pants, diy necklace; valley vinnies and brain ideas
oh what a day! today has been fun, and i dont think i could ever hate an extra day off :) fantastic and full of surprises, i headed into town to see a few good friends of mine and ended up running into more than i had planned. a lovely trip with numerous lovely ladies and lads and many laughs. watching peers expertly play his way through dire strait on guitar hero, which is still stuck in my head, blew my jealousy sky high! haha.
but as for the rest of the weekend, alot of working was done for once, i never get the weekend shifts, but they were a good difference and filled some time. friday night was spent chatting and curled up in bed with a good drama on television, very relaxing. an early start to saturday morning was weird, as usually i can never get out of bed. i headed off to the markets and found some adorable dresses which i now call my own, making friends with a cute stall boy was good too! sushi for lunch is always a treat and little moments between friends and i. walking past a general shop and seeing my lovely acquaintance now works there was a little exciting, him being stealth with his duties was also fun.
that night kicked off with donuts at a bus stop and then live music sweetly in my ears. aversions crown, midnight in alaska, chasing stitches and torn asunder, all lovely. though supposed to be selling merch, my friend would rather talk to me then bother, it was a little silly. then back home to see family over for dinner and show off my formal dress yet again.
sunday was chilled and then working again. never in my life have i heard the name paul so many times ina few hours. the latest trend at work is saying our managers name in an accent, to fill words of songs or just in general at the end of every sentence or phrase. it can be annoying after a while. sunday night phone calls to friends at a barbecue together was rather entertaining, yelling in the background that i dont think i was supposed to hear was just funny! i wish i had gone, but inevitably i could not.
finding a new song i fell in love with and catching up on the vedos was also good.
that is the extent to my catch up for the week. and now i have dinner waiting to be eaten!
