i really do get excited when a new week begins. this weekend, like many before it, has been an adventure and a half full of laughs, wonderous conversations, and crazy dance moves. what began on friday evening as a lovely bbq dinner turned into a girls crazy sleepover party with the dancing and the gossiping like you would not believe. through little to no sleep we all somehow managed to pull through and wake up to a scrumtious platter of fruits and cereals!
the rest of that day was a drag until i finally got home and took a nanna nap, the best things that have ever been invented may i add, before trekking to town, running into a great friend of mine and then missioning our way to a live music display. not concerntrating we took a wrong turn and ended up walking for an hour longer than we had to, but our miracle elixir of apple juice fixed our frustration right up, and we became more anxious the closer we were. another wonderful display of talent and running into so many people i know was just grand after that long walk. though i didnt exactly enjoy riding in a car with my friend, as he is the craziest driver i have ever seen! check out local bands such as outrage, the ailment, hold the fort, dying honour and burn athena to see some of what was displayed.
the last tales of my weekend worth telling, ends with us waiting for our friend julian in front of a popular night spot and us laughing at all the entrants. there was even a situation where a young lad insisted on crossing the road, coming to me, telling me i was cute and then proceeded back to the line of the night club, ridiculous. not enough sleep ever occurs on my weekends and by sunday night i get to wound up in conversation with lovely people to want to go to sleep.
i decided last night while painting my nails misty lilac, that i am going to try and sleep more because by monday morning you need a spatula to get me out of bed. but enough of my weekend fun, this week has some great installments of fun on the rise, including a get together tonight. i think its why i love holidays so much to be honest, freedom reigns down upon me!
